This is such a tragedy. The half-dozen schools left in NYC which are functioning at a high level with gifted motivated students are about to be DESTROYED by the far left anal orifices DumblASSio and Carranza in the name of "racial equality". If their black and Hispanic students cannot pass the entrance exam, because they were not motivated enough to work hard learning in their classes, why would these commie pieces of garbage think that once they walk through the doors of Stuyvesant HS, Brooklyn Tech, Townsend Harris or Bronx Science HS, they would magically perform at a high level? These students can barely READ, let alone compose intricate essays, work higher math problems, or design a controlled experiment. I can tell you from experience that they will NOT be able to handle the work and, thus frustrated, they WILL respond by acting out and disrupting classes. Then no one will be able to learn. Will that make these commie sons of whores happy? That is the commie way---everyone must be the same---even if it's low quality. The kids already at these schools will be subjected to bullying from the newcomers, they may be forced to provide test answers by bullies, the lack of respect for teachers will become the new culture at these schools, until they closely resemble the ghetto schools the newcomers came from. I've never seen bad kids turn into good kids by being transferred to a good school--only the opposite. These few specialized schools are the ones holding up the median scores achieved in NYC. When they start to falter---and they will, with all the disruption and special attention the newcomers will require---median test scores will fall and there won't be any high scores to bolster the city median. The city school system, headed by a commie hardliner moron and a fool whose vocabulary consists of "equality", "diversity", "Hispanic", and "black", will sink under the waves like the Titanic. Thousands of talented and gifted students, shown prejudice because they were NOT Hispanic or black, will have nowhere to go to simply sit quietly and learn unless their parents can spring for private schools. This is a disgrace and a shame. DumblASSio leaves a trail of s___ wherever he goes.

New York is decaying rapidly. Amazon smelled the rot as they got close and withdrew. Many other people and businesses are doing the same. Those that can will head for the exits. Most parents will do ANYTHING, including relocate, for their kids. The Great Blue Diaspora will accelerate.

A few years ago, I was called by a tenured EE prof (I had taught in that department long before) to take his advance communications theory class so that he could do some research. While giving an exam, I wandered the bldg to see what was being taught. With only one exception (a music theory class) the rest were absolute jokes and not worth of even a middle school (when public schools were actually good).
