Full Title: Florida woman busted for allegedly trying to extort man by publishing photos of his genitalia on his social media
A woman who “maliciously posted” photos of an associate’s genitalia “across multiple social media platforms” by using the man’s own social media accounts was arrested by Florida cops over the weekend.
Breyanna Dean, 24, used an unidentified male associate’s old phone to access his social media account, according to documents obtained by the Smoking Gun, then posted photos to those accounts that “directly exposed the victim to disgrace,” according to those papers.
The victim was unable to deactivate those accounts because Dean allegedly changed the passwords.
Dean is said then to have written a demand for payment in agreement to removing the embarrassing content, which constitutes “probably cause” for an extortion case, according to a Pasco County, Fla. affidavit.
She was arrested and freed Saturday on $10,000 bond. Her connection to the victim is unclear.
The Smoking Gun wrote that Dean had previously been convicted on charges including disorderly conduct. She was also reportedly accused of cyber-stalking twice last year. A judge thew out one of those cases and issued a restraining order against Dean in the other one.
