Just follow the Aroostook river north from Presque Isle. Halfway to Caribou, about 6 miles, you’ll see the sign.
On the satellite, of course...
People actually here best view it from across the river on Rt 205 the Parkhurst Siding Rd. Best contrast is before mid day.

Its not an explination. I have not worked in the satelite imagery for google maps for about ten years now, and was an engineer rather than a spokesman even then. But it is an educated guess by a former insider.

Great work, but google maps is frequently way out of date. The image for my house is over 3 years old. It’s likely they just have not updated since you made this.
