Jess Morales Rocketto, a former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign staffer with the title of Director of Digital Organizing, wrote on Twitter Monday that she is the originator of the new liberal women’s group Supermajority that debuted Monday morning. Rocketto described the women who rallied to her idea and worked to make it a reality as “powerful witches” who came together and called in the “coven”. Rocketto has been joined by other Hillary activists like campaign speechwriter Lauren Peterson and liberal women activists including Cecile Richards, former head of the extremist abortion provider Planned Parenthood. Hillary Clinton is not an apparent participant as of now, just an inspiration.
“When a group of really powerful witches get together, the coven gets called in. Women we roll so hard with are volunteering, leaving big jobs to come build it. We got @taytayES said yes when she should have said no. @elizabethchan did too. We believed. (8/?)”
