Quite possible, the caught-in-the-eye premise. Not even the best social justice wimpiers can act THAT well. That shriek comes from the diaphragm, and that’s not easy to fake.
That said, she’s lucky if her only consequence is a trip to the doctor. She was committing Battery on a Police Officer, battery being defined as ‘unwanted touching’. Doesn’t matter if it is a stick or a feather. If it is touching, and is unwanted, it is battery.
Up the ante when it is on a police officer: Battery on a Police Officer.

I thought her eye was injured, as well. I had a lacerated cornea many years ago, and it is NO FUN! I had problems with that eye for a couple years afterward, as the cut actually created a “flap,” and every so often that “flap” would fold over, which caused my eye to spasm.

Special snowflake screams in agony Had the video been a different angle or no video to do other than what she did would have missed an opportunity. Considering her purpose for being there she reacted correctly to provide evidence of brutality. It’s always worth a shot.
