It only applies to purchases by the city for school lunches, city run hospitals and jails. Jeez, I’d take hard time upstate over Rikers.
Makes me pray that sea level rise cannot come too soon.

Several years ago I had a Nathan’s Original hot dog from a branded stand in the Slots-a-Fun casino in Las Vegas, and it was utter garbage. It tasted like an off-brand cheapo chicken wiener. Two bites, and it went into the trash.
I felt unwell for days afterward.
I haven’t been able to convince myself to try one since, it was that foul.

Just again proving my point that new Yorkers are irredeemable morons because they voted for the idiots in charge. Personally I think all New Yorkers should be made to eat kale, turnips, and cabbage every day of the week as well as having meatless Monday - Sunday to set an example for the rest of us.

I think the headline is definitely satire, or exaggeration.
It looks like the part about him cutting out 50% of meat in public facilities might be real.

At this rate, there will not be a single business running in NYC that is not connected in some way with the DeBlasio family by the end of his term. DeLgado seems bent on eliminating any of the things that make New York New York. I am wondering if he wants to extinguish the lights on Broadway to save electricity, or shut off the signs of Times Square.

Some places like nyc need it far more than others, but just about everywhere in america needs a revolt against all forms of tyrants like this. we all have them locally and at the state and fed levels.

“If we don’t act soon on climate change, our children will pay for our mistakes. And if Washington doesn’t hold Big Oil accountable, New York City will.”
For the children, right. Notice how he doesn’t mention that if China and India continue to make no change (other than signing meaningless agreements referencing changes to be begun in 2030) it doesn’t matter what the rest of the world does, certainly not what NYC does.
And as for big oil. Yeah, that’s the reason I drive my car. To support Big Oil. Not because I want to get somewhere.
They are virtuoso liars these demonrats, every single one of them.
