Two parents in northern California have been arrested for child endangerment after authorities allegedly found their two toddler sons inside cages bolted to a bedroom wall.
Modoc County Sheriff Tex Dowdy said Tuesday that deputies arrested 25-year-old Ramon Zendejas and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Mercadies Williams on Friday on illegal firearms possession and child endangerment charges.
Both are now in the Modoc County Jail held on $10,000 bail each, Action News Now reported.

Put them in small cages.
Their immigration status would be interesting.

Diversity is our ......
Being CA, I am surprised they even had bail set. I thought the new thing in CA was no cash bail needed, if you are “poor”. These might be illegal immigrants, and I think they also get some special treatment.
They will probably get points for having bolted the cages to the wall, so they wouldn’t tip over.
What is a “butane honey oil lab”?
Give a few good Freepers 5 minutes with this scum....
Will complain when they’re caged.
Well, as you might think, it is a lab for making butane honey oil. Next time get a computer with Google.
...derp.
Well, um, yes. I figured you guys knew everything anyway.
Canabis or hashish oil
Look like play pens most of us occupied at one time or another when we were at that age.
Reading about it sounds like too much trouble to produce.
I can’t believe CA let them out of jail period.
Looking at their picture, I doubt they are illegal immigrants.
“Look like play pens most of us occupied at one time or another when we were at that age.”
But I am sure you were not locked up in your playpens so you could not get out.
Hash oil, also known as honey oil or cannabis oil, is an oleoresin obtained by the extraction of cannabis or hashish. ... There are various extraction methods, most involving a solvent, such as butane or ethanol.
looks to me like very nice toddler playpens customized as bunk cribs and attached to the wall so they won't fall over.
this whole thing looks like BS to me if it's just based on these ordinary playpens
President Trump struck again.
“But I am sure you were not locked up in your playpens so you could not get out.”
Isn’t that the whole point of a crib?
These “cages” look like cribs with roofs
I also agree with one of the other posters that this seems to be a space saving method of keeping the kids safe in their cribs unless there is evidence that this is a 24/7 lockup of soiled kids. Are the kids malnourished?
