This is why I care more about dogs than I do for many many humans on this rock. A dog's loyalty and love for human affection/attention has always amazed me. The ability of sentient humans to hate and kill each other for the least reason also amazes me.

The love of our little doggie is the joy of our life. She's a rescue as was our previous who died of cancer and broke our hearts. And yes, I contribute to the ASPCA.

When I see their ads on TV and hear and read about the horrendous abuse some dogs endure, I would have no problem with the responsible human stop existing. Amazingly, once these abused dogs are found and medically treated and shown compassion, most revert back to their inherent friendly loving ways. They are truly man's best friend.
