How many of their parents took the time to teach them?

Wow. I grew up in an age of do-it-yourself and build-it-yourself (think Heathkit). I get a lot of satisfaction knowing I can do all sorts of tasks from caulking a window to fixing a flat on a bike. It’s all just learned skills and none of it is beyond the average person’s capability. Of course if one was never exposed to these sorts of tasks, then it would all be as alien to them as reading Egyptian hieroglyphs.

How many of their parents know how?
To: rickmichaels
That’s staged. I six year old would do it.

Fortunately, last year I was able to augment my manual transmission vehicle collection with a new turbo-gas, AWD, m/t Station wagon to provide reliable long distance trip capability to the fleet.
It may be the last new vehicle I may need to live out my daze.
YMMV...

Out of fairness, I couldn’t open a can of paint either, until I could.
I couldn’t start a lawnmower, until I could.
I couldn’t change a car’s oil and filter, until I could.
Hell, I think it took me two tries to boil water.

Millenials didn’t just sprout from the ground like mushrooms - there’s a lot of bad parenting and public school indoctrination behind all of the toxic cocktail of ignorance, arrogance and incompetence which makes up some people of that age.
To: rickmichaels
Attention whore clowns know they will get on TV/Youtube if they pretend to be stupid for Kimmel.
