Not that horrible ? Let me tell you, ma’am, I’ve seen countless movies, tv shows, you name it, over my years. I’ve seen great and ghastly. The casting of Cucumberpatch as Khan Noonien Singh was the most viscerally offensive, insulting, and vile hard kick in the balls to every Star Trek fan possibly imaginable. If the first Faux Trek movie was an insult, all that came after was just one sick joke. I’d call the casting of that overrated, pasty-white English twat racist. Ricardo Montalbán must be spinning in his grave, and I’m glad he did not live to see that film made.
I don’t understand that Cucumberpatch casting. Obiviosuly there plan was to have Khan but lie about it and then “surprise” the audience.
A simple throwaway line could have explained his appearance (if not the accent), obviously they would have had to alter it so no one would recognize SPACE HITLER, the History channel would be running specials on Khan’s childhood non-stop, everyone in the world would know what he looked like. But no, they said nothing, and student of Earth history Spock had to ask Old Spock who Khan was, WTF.
People making movies nowadays are lazy, stupid idiots.
It could have been forgiven if Cumcumber delivered a good performance. But the character was lifeless, devoid of charm or anything really. Probably the writers fault and not his. But I have to say I saw the first 2 or eps of “Sherlock”, didn’t care for it at all.
