What’s ironic is that firing Mueller would have been an idiotic move politically, but Mueller’s report is basically an admission that he never should have been hired in the first place.

Bump and nomination for post of the year.

Wow. Lots of people got overpaid on this Mueller Report.
They were hired to cover-up dirty deeds of their friend in low places.

The Office of Counsel to the President was created in 1943, and is responsible for advising on all legal aspects of policy questions, legal issues arising in connection with the President's decision to sign or veto legislation, ethical questions, financial disclosures, and conflicts of interest during employment and post employment. The Counsel's Office also helps define the line between official and political activities, oversees executive appointments and judicial selection, handles Presidential pardons, reviews legislation and Presidential statements, and handles lawsuits against the President in his role as President, as well as serving as the White House contact for the Department of Justice.

It is NOT the job of the White House Counsel to tell the Acting Attorney General to fire anyone. He or she is not in the chain of authority to do so. The role of the White House Counsel is advisory only.

Clue: The White House Counsel CANNOT “fire Mulehead.” Doesn’t anyone bother to look at this stuff?

Exactly, thank you. The White House Counsel’s role is completely advisory, not executive at all. . . and certainly not in authority over the Attorney General or Acting Attorney General. His or her job is to give confidential legal guidance to the president.

Let’s make it a great tomorrow. I hope now that PDJT will tell his side of the story with all the information he knows before a nationally televised audience. Release the KRAKEN!

The only crime Mr. Trump is guilty of, it seems to me, is in his selection of attorneys —

Starting with Jeff Sessions, without whom none of this mess would have gotten started.

It was a NY times article yesterday. Google “New York times McGann.”
