Mutual of Omaha probably sponsored it.

Someone needs to explain to me the pants-at-the-knees trend among some “youths”. It doesn’t even look comfortable. Plus you need something to hold it even up that far, don’t you? SMH

Why arrest them?
The colored gals that run Chicago (Foxx and Lightfoot) will just dismiss and release.

Theres pictures of teens in the article.

Are they like the screenshots from Beach Party and those other teen movies? Those kids can get rascally and get into shoving matches over who has the fastest car and who got invited to sit closer to some girl’s former boyfriend at the evening campfire.

The challenge is to keep the public safety, he said.
Well that is a lie!
The challenge is to enforce the law without offended certain folks to the point that they will riot!

My kids live near Chicago. We visit several times a year. We have not been in Chicago since my first visit there in 1998, and I have no desire to.

Yeah, they were all out looking for any little old ladies that might need help crossing the street.

I was told it has something to do with prison, where men wear their pants that way to um, solicit their wares. If that is true I don’t know why it is emulated.
Plus it looks stoooopid.

when they start getting their Guaranteed Universal Minimum Income for doing nothing. At one time in college I had three part time jobs (admittedly one was 6 hours a week). Happened to my wife at one time too with research jobs. I delivered campus mail daily including heaving big mail bags onto the stack in a semi and riding in back on the pile to the downtown post office. And selling and stocking LPs in a music department each night. Where did I get the energy?
I assume all these "teens" are working hard and then can finally rest and slack off with guaranteed income. Am I right?/s

At least one of his arms is occupied doing no harm holding up his pants.

If the ladies’ purses were heavy the teens could hold them to lighten the load on their feet.
