Even though the driver was arrested, will this turn out to be?:
A) Gang of animals try to trap innocent motorist; he tries to flee injuring several in the process; others drag him out of the car and beat the crap out of him. Or,
B) Jihadi or other nut deliberately runs into innocent pedestrians; good Samaritans drag him out of the car and beat the crap out of him.

Police say they received a 911 call about a 44-year-old man intentionally trying to hit people with his car following an altercation.It's Philly. I'll reserve the possibility that he was just trying to escape.

Temple University student Jessica Nace was passing through the neighborhood when she noticed a crowd beating on a man in a car in front of her.
“They were pounding him and hitting him, beating him up in the car,” said Nace. “Then they pulled him out of the car and he was on the ground and they were kicking him and stuff.”
She said that’s when the suspect in the Buick, apparently the brother of the man being beaten, drove his car into the crowd....
“And then some people from the neighborhood pulled the 44-year-old driver out of the vehicle and assaulted him....

Jeez, it sounds like the named “perp” was trying to defend his brother from a mob of ferals who had dragged him from their car. There’s clearly a side of this story not being told.
