(Newser) – A New Jersey woman who allegedly used garden shears to ruin her neighbor's Playboy bunny lawn display has been charged with criminal mischief—and she's forced to look at the mannequins once more. NJ.com reports dentist Wayne Gangi resurrected his lingerie-clad display outside his Clifton office over the weekend and beefed it up in the process, this time joining his five female mannequins with two male ones. Though the mannequins are wearing bunny ears, holding Easter baskets, and surrounded by eggs, he says his lawn ornaments aren't meant to celebrate Easter but the late Hugh Hefner's birthday, which was April 9.
The AP reports a TV news crew was filming the attention-grabbing display last Tuesday when Desiree Shepstone, 37, allegedly dismantled it with the shears, claiming she didn't want her 16-year-old son to be forced to look at the "disgusting" display. She reportedly lives in a home across from the office. Gangi called the police on her and says he's added signs warning would-be trespassers to stay off his lawn. "If somebody violates that space, they’re getting arrested," he says. The AP reports Gangi estimated the damage done as in the $500 to $1,000 range. (Read about another neighborhood beef here.)
No. If YOU had read the article, it was an EASTER display. It's still up. Hefner's birthday was last week.
He's a pastor.
Just a tip?

The question has to be asked... what’s this dude doing with all of these female mannequins???
I think he borrowed them from Laz.
So, you “mowed her lawn,” eh?
That’s what they called it in your neighborhood?
Thats what they called it in your neighborhood?
It wasnt the lawn mowing that was so memorable. It was the refreshments afterwards.
Now excuse me while I reminisce for a while. Maybe a couple of hours.

Drove past this on Sunday while driving to Montclair. Thought is was a little goofy, but it had lots of gawkers pulled over to take selfies with the mannequins. The two male mannequins were also up when I went by. Odd. Just very odd.
I didn't say it was not still there. The Dentist said it was a tribute to Hefner, I didn't make that up.
Looks like a window display for Victoria’s Secret.
