He is the highest-paid athlete in the world.

Tiger's amazing play and popularity changed the financial world for professional golf. Before Tiger's tough years, the other players respected him for his talent and the fact that they all made a lot more money than they would have without Tiger.

These past years of struggle have changed Tiger for the better. Now the other players like him for the person he is as well as what he has done for the game. I enjoyed seeing so many PGA tour players congratulating him after his win.

"Now I can afford another mistress".

He can afford a harem. See # 50 above-thread for Tiger's current net worth and yearly income.

Even Barack Obamma likes it.

Congratulations, Tiger! To come back and win the Masters after all the highs and lows is a testament to excellence, grit, and determination.— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) April 14, 2019

Jack was born in January of 1940. You do the math.

I didn't say Woods was older than Nicklaus was in '86. I wrote that Woods, at 43, is the oldest winner since Nicklaus won his last Masters. I did the math, (and the reading comprehension).

Yes - I was in tears at the scene with his son and his mother. And hearing the crowd: Ti-ger . Ti-ger.

Awesome!!!! Way to go, Tiger!

As a golfer playing 60 years and as one who understands physics of golf, I can posit that Tiger won because he has slowed down his swing. I knew he would not win another major tournament again until he changed his swing. A man over 35 years age should never swing as hard as he can. The nerves are not there anymore to retain accuracy with a very fast swing.

Tiger is the best golfer I have ever seen in action, in his prime he dominated the field like no other golfer did. Jack Nicklaus never had the tough competition like today’s international field. How about that Molinary dude from Italy...he lost it by hitting into the water on one hole. Otherwise he was on his way to win.

No kidding, the gallery was 99% white, and every one was applauding Tiger. Proves only one thing, there is no racism ANYMORE in golf. In the old days black Americans were not allowed to even compete, and when they began allowing them, they could not stay in the whites only motels/hotels. The country has come a long way.

Jack did not have half the competition which exists today with international field (Molinary, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Rory McElroy, Si Woo Kim, Henrik Stenson, Jon Rahm etc) and long hitters like Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson, not to mention amazing American young talents like Patrick Cantlay,
Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Matt Kuchar, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and multiple majors winner Brooks Koepka.

This is the first time in years and years that I have pulled for Tiger.

He’s paid for his sins.

At the 12th, Molinari’s shot was smack dab in the middle of the pond.

I do believe that’s one of the worst misses I’ve ever seen.

A GREAT Masters. Just wonderful. The lead changed like six times in the final nine.
