Entering a park in Australia there was a warning about the Cassowaries in the park. Said to back away slowing, and slowly raise your hands over your head to make you appear larger than the bird.
I looked at my buddy and said “Wait - to APPEAR to look bigger!!?? How large are these things!!??”

My sister was a zookeeper several years ago, she took care of the birds. They had a couple of those birds, they are very dangerous.
