"Blake’s 7"

It has sort of lasted forever... Virtually all scifi TV series since then have been essentially the same construct...

Was Wonderfall where the girl had spirits talk to her via various figurines?

Yes. The main character played a college grad struggling to get by in a gift shop where fate would have inanimate objects try and help her by stating obscure references. Quirky good fun!

On most of these TV Science Fiction Shows there is no resolution.

The Shows just end a Season and they are gone.

Felt that way about Earth 2. I thought it had at least a few more seasons left in it.

I was a bit partial to Jolene Blalock as T’Pol. But I won’t argue against Jadzia Dax, either!

Seven of Nine was a bit “overdone” to me. More like a fantasy woman, than real.

Ah, now we’ve gone OT!

That was kinda cool though, they way they just all wandered off into the wilderness with nothing but the shirts on their backs, thinking they’d build their own houses and farms. With no tools. With no seed to plant. With nothing to protect them from the ravages of the coming winter. In two weeks starvation would set in. Then disease, the elements, predators, or attack from the natives they knew nothing about. Too bad there wasn’t an episode about it.

Best space babe ever. Including seven of nine tertiary adjunct of unimatrix zero one. A close second is Colonel Deering (sometimes known as Erin Gray)

That’s the one. With only a handful of episodes, I don’t think the family ever got out of that alternate dimension, did they? I just checked the credits. Didn’t realize until now that Jonathan Banks (”Mike” from Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul) was one of the baddies on the show.

Oh, man, circa 1979, did every pubescent and prepubescent boy in America have a crush on Erin Gray, or what? Total knockout.. in a nice girl kinda way. Ditto Bionic Woman and the girls on Charlie’s Angels. The ‘70s pretty much rocked... at least compared to now. What kind of you women do boys see on TV these days? Tatted-up chicks, dykes with noserings, etc.

I'm not sure where I was on the pubescent scale when Maya became my first space babe:

Catherine Schell in all her glory. No nose rings, but side burns and weird eyebrows.

The TV movie on which it was based, “The Night Stalker”, was derived from a Jeff Rice novel (unpublished at the time) titled “The Kolchak Papers”.

I have that book in paperback. Excellent read.

Babylon 5

But was hurriedly concluded on TV and;

Which continued in numerous audio and books.

The series was to be continued in Crusade but that was canceled after 13 episodes and not concluded.

How bout The Expanse?

Firefly is the given. It had great potential but was sunk by executive meddling.

More recently, Dark Matter was left hanging after three seasons.

I haven’t (yet) seen a vote for The Expanse, which IMO is the best SF series of the last ten years. Supposedly Amazon picked it up after SyFy canceled it, but the fourth season has yet to materialize. I’d hate to think it fizzled out mid-story.
