That’s in the reimagined series. The original 1978 series didn’t feature the Cylons having a deity they paid homage to, although Count Iblis (a satanic figure and a fallen Being of Light) is implied to be the true identity and nature of the Cylon Imperious Leader.

I am watching the “Seven Days” series on video now.
My favorite scene so far is where the lead character explains to the investigative reporter (on live TV) that he was recruited from an insane asylum to travel back in time.
The team back in the office was cracking up when they realized that the truth was a better cover story than any lies they could create!

They had a lot of names that came from Greek gods, though.

Babylon 5 did make it to a planned end although not to its ideal planned end. It was intended for 5 season run but approval of fifth arrived late so jms adjusted season fours arc for a possible early end. The last episode taped in seas 4 was written by jms so it could be used at end of, either 4 or 5. It was then held for the fifth season after its belated approval. It was an awesome final episode. Faith managed!
However, the B5 sequel series Crusade didnt get to finish its potential run, a significant loss for SF.

Yes, as I’ve just been corrected. P’d me off at the time, though. I don’t remember enough of it now to pick up where I left off.

BTW, the last episode of the BG reimagined series kinda ripped off The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, with the protagonists arriving on Earth in a similar way to the Golgafrinchans.

And also the fact that the 2 show creators were going through an ugly divorce didn’t help.

B5 got five seasons; a bunch of movies; and a couple of spin offs.

Well, at least they ripped of something decent. But some of the last episode was terrible. They left too much unresolved. For instance, what on earth was Starbucks? Dead? Reincarnated? A ghost? We never found out.
That and other difficulties provoked a flood of fan complaints. On the Blu-Ray commentary track, the producer made note of the complaints and said we should just “get over it.” That’s Hollywood for, “The dog ate my homework.”

Well, quite often not every loose end is tied up. But that of course leaves plenty of fodder for writers of fanfiction . . .
