” The same goes for belts with metal buckles as well as shoes with steel-reinforced soles.”
Hard to take this article serious. When did they start letting you wear shoes through TSA check point... even with the TSA expre$$ ticket?”
I go through TSA all the time wearing my loafers. They don’t have steel shanks. So I know the won’t trip the “mags.” They’ve never asked me to put my shoes in one of those tubs.
If you’re lucky enough to hit the pre-check jackpot you don’t have to take off your shoes.
With TSA pre-check, you do not need to remove shoes or jackets, etc.
Pre-check = no shoe/ belt/ dress jacket removal. But have empty pockets.
When did they start letting you wear shoes through TSA check point...
TSA pre allows you to go through with your shoes and belt on and your laptop inside a case.
