Kim Foxx's handling of the Jussie Smollett case includes a long list of miscalculations. Add to it her decision to stand with U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., as he called the Police "the sworn enemy of black people."
Questions about Foxx are grounded in decisions she made to insert herself into the Smollett case, to drop all charges against him and to let court records stay sealed without protest. Her explanations regarding the case have been condescending and inconsistent.
Foxx is the lead prosecutor of the nation's second-largest county. She is law enforcement. It might have been Foxx's most egregious mistake so far.
Hours after that rally, those so-called enemies of black people responded to a mass shooting in West Englewood, Rush's home base. 20 children were playing outside during a baby shower when someone began firing from down the block.
One witness credited police officers with saving the life of one of the children by beginning chest compressions as he bled from his wounds.
So far we've heard no comment from Rush's office about that shooting.
Rush also called supporters of mayoral candidate Lori Lightfoot co-conspirators in police brutality. He said "blood would be on those voters' hands" in the next police shooting. That was his desperate attempt to help his candidate, Toni Preckwinkle. It didn't work.
There was a time when Rush softened his tone. In 1999, Rush's son was killed in a tragedy described as "bizarre." The aspiring cosmetologist was gunned down. Rich died several days later after a heavy loss of blood.
Chicago police worked to solve his murder. They arrested two men who later were convicted in the death of Rush's son. A former Black Panther, Rush said, "I've moved on. ... Where race or racism predominates, we don't solve the problem by overemphasizing it."

Chicago should be very proud---they found the Missing Link---and made it State's Attorney.
But is isn’t just Bobby Rush or Kim Foxx. How many other blacks support this sentiment? Where is the pushback from the GOP or anyone else? This race crap is out of control and whites are not a punching bag.
Some 95% of ALL personal woe and grief in this world are in some way self-induced.
Kim Foxx just raised that rough average by an infinitesimal amount, all by herself. She went all the way to 100%.
Then she doubled down.
I didnt think of it at the time but Smollett wasnt just acting out his anti-white hatred. He was trying to start a race war. I think its not an unreasonable assumption given the identity of his mother.
Perhaps she’s incompetent and has to fall back on race baiting to cover for he lack of skill.
"I skipped class the day they taught prosecuting felonies. I was getting my nails done."
What is that?
Half human, half racist?
It’s Aunt Esther from “Sanford and Son.”
This photo is light years removed from the airbrushed glamour shot used in her 2016 campaign.
The “real” Kim......BOL.

Ah, that explains a comment on a thread last week about how Foxx used to look very attractive.
Not clear if the Foxx rally Trib’s K McQueary refers to was held at “G.D. America” Jeremiah Wright’s church. what’s also given a pass is the judge in this case; Watkins http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3737585/posts
GOP? This is Chicago. There is no GOP.
As for "anyone else", Trump has asked the DOJ to look into Foxx's decision and why this guy got off scot-free.
Probably an Affirmative Action “student”. Lets get a look at her transcript and then see how many times she had to take the bar exam before she “passed”

ROTFLMAO!! Its full face pictures are even better. A few years back the late, great Charlton Heston made a move, the first word of whose title was “Planet.” That Cook Co. critter could have been cast in that movie without any prosthetic makeup.
