If you’re raised to live a secular life saturated with entertainments/distractions, you’ll take umbrage at the suggestion that life has fixed truths worth reckoning with. You probably won’t put it to words in that way, but that’s how you’ll react.
These people are so pathetic. Incapable of imagining people in other than imaginary groups of monolithic character. This is the entire foundation of the Democrat party, defining people by race, gender (male or female), etc. With no deviation allowed by individuals in these groups.
Theirs is a world of crystal clear polar opposites. Good and evil. Socialist or capitalist. Elites and masses. Nationalist and Internationalist. etc. With no middle ground or gray area permitted.

And people are coerced into making all sorts of shaky compromises just to perpetuate public schooling. The everyday logistics of PS imposes all kinds of tensions on society, to say nothing of the curriculum, but somehow society keeps immolating itself so that school can march on: “It’s the law,” after all.
