A group of suburban police chiefs joined with the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police to give Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx a vote of no confidence Thursday in the latest fallout over her office’s abrupt dismissal of charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.
FOP President Kevin Graham and some 30 suburban police leaders took it a step further at a news conference, calling on Foxx to resign from her elected office.
“People standing around me can give you countless examples of how Ms. Foxx’s lack of prosecution has cost our members and police officers … an enormous amount of problems,” Graham said. “Not to mention the fact that the people in Cook County are depending on prosecutors to put people in jail and charge them accordingly.”

She got an off duty police officer killed a few weeks back. Low bail, reduced charges, felon in possession of a firearm charge dropped, and he was out on the street.
Just days later he murdered an off duty Chicago cop who was sitting in his car with friends.
The perp did it because the dead offficer “looked Hispanic”. The Smollett thing is just the latest outrage coming out of the joke of Cook County “Justice”.
And just wait until the weather warms up. The first couple of 70 degree plu weekends are going to see a wave of mayhem and murders this city hasn’t seen since that crooked retard Daley was in office.
And the cops aren’t going to lift a finger to stop it and I don’t blame them one single bit. They’re going to concentrate on doing their shifts and making it home alive.

She now has significant notoriety, she is a known adovocate for social justice, and exhibits disdain for law enforcement. She is a virtual shoe in for the mayorship.
Yeah, good thing she's a Dem. A Repub would have resigned by now ("in disgrace" the media would say) or been hounded from office...
As if she could cares what real law enforcement thinks.
