I once asked a family friend, a retired LEO who had been through hundreds of trials over his lifetime, how many jailbirds were really innocent. If you asked them, he said, darn near 100%.
” he dindu nuttin’ “
She might have committed suicide just to trap this guy.
The boy have a phone? Was it anywhere nea where the body was found or no?
Dindu Nuffin.
I haven’t read how the authorities determined it was this young man but if it was based on DNA evidence or video cam footage of the pickup and identification of the car, that’s going to be hard to refute. Unless prosecutors have the bad luck to get an OJ jury.
Dont get in cars with strangers. If a guy tries to force a girl into a car, she should scream and yell and fight at all cost to stay out of the car. She will die anyway. But Uber is a way for shady characters to get people into cars that they totally dont expect.
Before getting into an uber you should ask the driver if they know your name. Who am I? If they dont know then you dont get in. Also the apo tells you the name of the driver and the license of the car so you can check for yourself before getting in. So there are ways in which caution can be your best friend. But sometimes people get in a hurry and dont do the asking.
Beautiful girl lost forever. Sad.
Title is worded in a way to suggest that it is the victim’s parents, who think he is innocent.
The parents of the guy in jail, who think he is innocent.
Alternate theory:
My brain is struggling a good deal so far today due to various reasons.
More detail. Police say they have video of her getting into his car, when stopped, he ran. Police also say he had her blood in his car, germicidal wipes, her phone etc. https://www.insideedition.com/what-happened-samantha-josephson-aspiring-lawyer-killed-after-mistaking-car-uber-ride-police-say
Hey parents, did you ever think to ask him if he did it? I think not since you would be afraid of the answer.
“I didn’t know her, never met her, never seen her”
“Your DNA was found on her”
“We’ve been together a long time”
