Today’s Cryptogram

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.
For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.
Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under 2 "you're a pro!"
Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.

I do the crossword for my daily mental exercise, but this is a great supplement.
Wow. I almost put this away until later. Got it by the “e” and the 5 letter word with two E’s and a lot of guessing 5 min. Contains a real truth.
Two minutes. Very true.
4 and 1/2 min. Kept trying 2 letter, and 4 and 5 letter words until things finally fell into place. Getting some of author’s name helped.
Back on track?? after a ‘rough - unsolvable - weekend’...around 3 ....once the double double goes down, it gets REAL simple...
That took about six minutes, because I didn’t notice at first that the 5th word was one of the recognizable ones.
4 minutes - couple of false leads in the beginning ... doubles are not only used in the movies!

That one was pretty easy. I solved it in under 10 minutes.

That one was tough.
I goofed around with it for about twenty minutes this morning and gave up.
After about five minutes this afternoon, I finally got the name which unlocked the whole thing.
