COLUMBIA, S.C. — The body of University of South Carolina student Samantha Josephson, who was reported missing Friday, was found in a field by hunters and a suspect was arrested, Columbia Police said in a news conference Saturday night.
Police said Samantha Josephson, 21, was reported missing by her friends Friday around 1:30 p.m. when she wasn't responding to calls and never returned home after going out Thursday night in 5 points. Video surveillance footage circulating on social media showed Josephson getting into a black Chevy Impala around 2 a.m. on Harden Street outside of the Bird Dog bar.
Police believe Josephson called an Uber after being separated from her friends and was waiting outside the bar.

Thanks, Lincoln! Liberals have been an absolute curse on this nation. Someone should do a graph of decisions made by liberals, and the direct and indirect implications of their decisions. I saw a similar chart done on Islamic refugees to Europe that showed incidence of rape, murder, terrorism, rtc.

NO WAY would a NYer get into the wrong car and not either directly exit or if confronted start punching and kicking and screaming and getting the HELL out of that car!!

Honest, it sounds ridiculous.
One simple mistake.
There was an incident just a few years ago where a man took the wrong exit in San Francisco, and within a few minutes his car was surrounded by gang members who killed him and (IIRC) his two young children who were in the car with him.
I will probably be called a racist for this radically proposed idea, but a fact is a fact. Black American crime accounts for a large portion of criminal incidents in this country. It is literally a national and national security issue. I am for a discussion on forcible housing, education, and behavior modofication for this demographic until we can bring down their rates of imprisonment, because it is now directly effecting the greater good of society. We have shootings, robberies, and rapes almost weekly now in my town, and you can probably guess who the perpetrators are. The African American family always blames a lack of community inolvement, and access to equal education. Well, if they can’t police their own, maybe the rest of society should step in

UBER cars have an “U” sticker on the windshield. Somewhere.
They are actually required to identify themselves this way, so that people can visually tell its an Uber car. Makes sense when you call for one and need to see if its the car you were waiting for.
So you can tell its actually an Uber car.
So how do you get into a strange car that doesn’t appear to be a Uber car?
I have to admit, I don’t understand what the Uber thing is. Is it private individuals that act as a taxi? In the very rural area where I live we don’t have Uber or taxis and have minimum local bus service. Basically if you don’t drive yourself, you must find a friend to give you a lift.
I’ve only used Uber a couple of times, but they tell you what kind of car is being sent and the drivers name, she must not have been paying attention.
This Uber crap is crap. In the 1970’s I hitchhiked once. I picked up hitchhikers twice. Never since. Uber is just more expensive hitchhiking. I remember when my parents said don’t take candy or anything from strangers. I’m armed all the time and I still don’t.

The uber app gives you the make, color, license plate of the car, and name and photo of the driver, who should greet you by name. Too bad she was too drunk or stupid to pay attention.
It was an accident. The guy had child locks so she could not get out. Just because you are from NY does not mean you are Rocky Marciano.
