No teacher should EVER be required to pack heat. Only those who are fully in agreement with the concept, are knowledgeable about the care, feeding, grooming and proper methods of management of the use and deployment of firearms of any kind, and agree to the terms of employment as an auxiliary deputy of the local law enforcement agency, should be issued the designation as “armed teacher”.
Some school districts might not have any eligible applicants at all.
