Crime in Newark may be declining but the city’s youth remain disproportionately exposed to violence. It’s claimed the lives of far too many young black men.
In a five year span, there were 122 young male homicide victims between the ages of 15 to 24, according to sobering findings from the Advocates for Children of New Jersey. The Newark Kids Count report, released Thursday, shows homicide is the leading cause of injury-related deaths for the city’s young men, accounting for about 75 percent of those fatalities

It doesn’t matter; these dangerous welfare reservations should serve as great incentive for decent people to strive to better themselves and leave them. Learn a skill, get a job, don’t breed early/out of wedlock, and never look back.
If these killings didn’t happen, more people would envy our permanent underclass and copy their lifestyles.
Part of the blame is the rap music culture.

Yes, I remember Bamberger’s. My grandmother took us little kids there by bus one year for shopping. Yes, Newark was a decent place in the late 50s and early 60s.
