BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. A man deleted searches for South Carolina escort services from his phone just days before he dumped his wifes body, according to warrants.
Phillip Brock, 71, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 71-year-old wife, Judy Brock.
Judy Brocks body was found March 20 wrapped in green cloth and bound with duct tape in a shallow grave in a wooded area of Sampson County, nearly 100 miles from the couples home.
Phillip Brock had reported his wife missing March 15. He told authorities she had dementia, which led them to issue a Silver Alert. Investigators said they later learned the dementia claim was a fabrication.
The warrant says Phillip Brock gave several inconsistent statements regarding his whereabouts on the day he reported his wife missing. Investigators said Phillip Brock also disabled his phone's GPS and he attempted unsuccessfully to turn off the GPS in his truck.
Investigators were ultimately able to trace Brocks movements the day his wife disappeared by using GPS locations, cellular records and video surveillance from locations at which he stopped along his way to work. The information led them to Wright Bridge Road in Sampson County -- a location Brock claimed he had not been to in months.
Investigators discovered a freshly disturbed area in the ground and tire tracks (on Wright Bridge Road), the warrant says. Investigators began to photo and process that area with shovels and discovered what appeared to be a shape consistent with a human body, wrapped in green in color cloth material, wrapped with silver/grey duct tape.
The warrant said Phillip Brock had deleted Google searches from his phone dated Feb. 26 and March 11, for escort services in South Carolina.
Investigators also found other deleted calls and texts from days prior to Judy Brock's disappearance and from the day she went missing, the warrant says.
During the investigation, duct tape, several guns and ammunition, a shovel found in Phillip Brocks truck, gloves, blankets and clothing were seized. A swab of a red and brown stain on a pair of denim overalls is also listed in the evidence inventory.
The cause of Judy Brocks death has not been released.
Phillip Brock is being held without bond in the Brunswick County Detention Center.
A simple divorce would have been easier, and a lot more moral.
Now he has room & board and healthcare taken care of.

Poor lady. How disturbing.
Her cause of death has not yet been told. If he’s guilty he’s guilty.
That said ...
His phone and his truck have GPS records, and surveillance equipment recorded his movements for later review - but the equipment recorded everyone and didn’t know the guy may have killed his wife. All are being watched and recorded.
We are being watched constantly and it’s sickening.
