The Chicago cops did ask the DOJ to investigate the states attorney for interfering the investigation a few days ago. It’s up to your imagination as to what happened with that request. It appears they were acting in good faith, imo.

I cannot even fathom investing a good portion of you LEO career in a department like that and try to hold out until retirement. Ditto here in Seattle. Cops are leaving the force for other cities or retirement. Seattle now is offering signing bonuses to encourage cops to come to under staffed Seattle PD. No takers

You’re wrong on many fronts. Smollett (abd family) are being very vocal about his innocence.
Also, Smollett isn’t a first offender and you incorrectly described how the program works anyhow.
