One suicide is tragic. Two is suspicious. Three means something is going on.

Didn’t one of Hoggy’s classmates that did not get invited to Harvard commit suicide yesterday? What’s up with these suicides?

It’s not uncommon for one successful suicide to encourage others.

Because liberals are sick people, and feel the need to follow whatever the latest trend is.

Just like transgenderism.

More than 6 years after the fact, it’s hard to confirm that the murder of his child was the direct event that led to his suicide, though I’m sure it didn’t help his overall mental health picture.

That could be.

I have 4 kids. They are grown now. The thought of one of them when he or she was 6 was gunned down along with their classmates by a sick crazed person would have caused an emotional strain that would have been HELL to deal with.

I can appreciate what you’re driving at, but for the record the report says it is an apparent suicide.

Maybe it was and maybe it wasn’t. We’ll probablnever really know.

Still, I can only imagine the non-stop anguish from losing a 6 year old.

May God have mercy on his soul.

One is a tragedy.

Two is a coincidence.

Three is enemy action.

These things tend to come in 3’s. Let’s hope that’s the last one.

“There are two main types of suicide clusters. A mass cluster involves suicides that cluster in time – irrespective of geography – and are often associated with the influence that media reports may have, such as suicides by celebrities. Point clusters involve suicides that are close in time and/or space. They often occur within institutional settings such as hospitals, prisons, or schools, or within distinct communities.” https://www.suicideinfo.ca/resource/suicidecontagion/

Survivors of school shootings are a double whammy because they contain both elements of media influence and as a distinct community (of survivors).

If Avielle was their only child, I could see the despair building up over time. All it might take for some is a trigger to finally end their own life. Maybe he found out he had some health issue that was going to greatly affect the remainder of his life. Who knows.

According to the CDC, 2016 had 44,965 recorded suicides. (A lot of them are not recorded.) This was up from 42,773 in 2014. The annual U.S. suicide rate increased 24% between 1999 and 2014. It is the highest rate recorded in the last 28 years.

When a geezer doesn’t want to go through the end of life agony with, say, stage 4 cancer, that’s one thing. But to see a guy in his mid to late 30s with a wife and a couple of kids do it, that’s another thing.

Dangerous when there are copycats. Very common a suicide brings it all back fresh and searingly painful. Other victims need to get serious attention and help NOW.

I really hate to be indelicate, but there are tons of things surrounding both incidents that have never, do not now, nor will they ever make sense. We know that our government and media do whatever they want and there really isn’t all that much we can do about it.

Are these suicides, exactly that? We’ll never know. Are they something else? We’ll never know.

Lots of people have died in very mysterious ways over the years. And a lot of them have one thing in common, the Democrats and Liberals.

New Zealand has a mass shooting. Lots of muslims are dead. Not like the 3000 Christians in Africa that have been killed by muslims, but dead just the same. A foreigner enters New Zealand, strict immigration/tourist laws, gets an AR and starts gunning folks down. Within a day or two, their government completely capitulates to the muslims and starts disarming the public. Almost as if the gun confiscation laws were written well ahead of time. Maybe? Seems kind of convenient.

Isn’t there something else in the news cycle that the Democrats and the Left would love to see disappear off the front page, lead story, internet threads?
