Exactly right. Mueller punted to DOJ. Likely trump did some stupid stuff he shouldn’t have done but didn’t sufficiently rise to the level needed to hang him since Rod would nail him if he could.
Will be interesting to see if they bring Mueller before Congress
That's a pretty weak example of obstruction, especially since nobody actually went easy on Flynn.
Expressing his opinion of the proceedings is not obstruction, exercising his Article II powers is not obstruction, calling the media enemies of the state is not obstruction, denying the charges is not obstruction, and questioning the motives of the investigators is not obstruction.
To the Democrats, the simple act of defending oneself from them is obstruction.
