Hey, we’ve all been there! Or at least those of us who’ve gone out on a limb to bring news to the thread.

Confirmation bias!

My confirmation bias actually kept me on the fence on this one. I was inclined to think it was true of PR, but disinclined to think it true of MP. Though the whole package made me want to watch him more closely!

[Well, we all know that you have a great deal of good sense! What you say is very true. At least in my opening words I expressed doubt. I didn’t report it as outright fact; I did say “if the emails are true.”

But the error in proceeding without checking the internal sources used by Area 17 carefully is still very regrettable for something this important. And I do regret it.]
