I can’t be the only one, but I find lobster absolutely tasteless. As in, water has more flavor & taste.
Amazed watching family members chow down on it like it’s the best food they ever ingested.

I love lobster. I wish I had so much lobster that when told thats for dinner I could say.....lobster again? Sigh.
I dont like fish, like shrimp and crab, but love lobster. I have a couple of nice tails in the freezer now that my neighbor in the marina gave me. He had a great lobster season this year.

I always say that crab, lobster and shrimp are just an excuse to eat butter.

In colonial Boston, domestics' contracts had a claws, er, clause, limiting the number of times per week lobster could be served to the household staff.
Two, iirc.

If seafood is tasteless then it was frozen and became freezer burned or at least dehydrated causing the flavor to disappear.

Lobster is very similar to chicken - almost all of the flavor comes from what you put on it. The big difference is chicken is cheap and meaty, while lobster is way overpriced and mostly shell.

Not to be disrespectful, but some people don’t have sensitive tastebuds. You may be one of them.
