Todays Cryptogram
WQR XERCJVNWVRNQ, WEG
MPJSS AX XERCJVNWVRNQ.
GWSX QWDEXLNX
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.
For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles. Puzzle solvers love to hear if you found the CG challenging or easy.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
.
Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under 2 "you're a pro!"
Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Would be great if we had our own logo. Anyone with some design skills?

Solution to our last puzzle:
In three words I can sum up everything Ive learned about life: it goes on. Robert Frost
The contraction certainly helped, though I went with an incorrect alternative at first.
So did I. That first word and I went round and round for 6 minutes.
Two and half minutes, but I dont recognize the author.
Seriously?

When I googled authors named Dale it jumped out at me but with the rest of the puzzle solved, I was missing a few letters in the last name. Couldn't see the forest from the trees. :)
Just for the record. Nikos1121 Rule #1.
If you solve the puzzle, but are stumped on the author, you’re allowed to google the quote to find the author, and you won’t be penalized for time.
Crap...you mean there are rules? LOL
5 min.
I’m w/the consensus; contraction got me started and once I got the first name the second name was obvious ...once I figured out it couldn’t be “Evans.” ;^)
Thx!
Yes, we definitely have rules.
Rule #2 No cheating. But if you do, just admit it. It’s an honor system.
Rule #3 If you can’t solve the puzzle, don’t blame Donald Trump or your parents.

30 seconds. Would you believe I recognized XERCJVNWVRNQ?
Rule #4 You must share a revelation with the group.
Do I need to get my post removed? I did not think of that as a hint.
It wasn’t. I’m proud of you.
Sometimes you do these puzzles, and the words just materializes right before your eyes or you just start reading from left to right.
Best challenge is to try and solve each line one of a time, or each word, before you go to the next.
No, I enjoyed you’re revelation! :-)
