State Attorney General Letitia James said she subpoenaed Deutsche Bank and Investors Bank on Monday for records involving President Trump’s failed bid to buy the Buffalo Bills and other business dealings involving the Trump Organization.
A day after issuing the subpoenas, James, who took office in January, lobbied legislators in Albany to loosen the double jeopardy “loophole” that prohibits state prosecutors from bringing similar charges against individuals pardoned from federal charges.

She said, “...I’m running for attorney general because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president when our fundamental rights are at stake.” James says we need to reform our criminal justice system, and that we should not criminalize mental illness or poverty. She also believes Democrats need to stand for freedom and the Constitution, “at a time when Congress, particularly Republicans, do not have a backbone,” against Trump.
“I believe that this president is incompetent. I believe that this president is ill-equipped to serve in the highest office of this land. And I believe that he is an embarrassment to all we stand for,” she said. “He should be charged with obstructing justice. I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses and we would join with law enforcement and other attorneys general across the nation in removing this president from office.”
Notice she offers not a shred of actual EVIDENCE to prove anything that she avers. Just like ol' Maxie and just like Ass On Call.

There is not the slightest reasonable accusation of any crime. We have reached a point in the country where if they don’t like someone, or disagree with his policies, they can launch an exhaustive investigation into his life.

You are confusing Republicans with Democrats - a common mistake. Democrats are naturally above all laws because laws are made by Republicans. The same hold true with crime:
Since Republicans made the law, they have to honor it and identify the crime before investigating. Democrats need a serious accusation to prove there has been a crime which has to be investigated; they need no evidence for conviction - the accusation is proof of guilt.

Trump did not clean the house. DoJ, FBI, CIA are still full of enablers who allowed ineligible candidate (Obama) to occupy White House for eight years. It is a big mistake to allow them to continue working for the government.
