A 17-year-old is facing two felony charges for spiking his stepfather’s energy drinks with cattle sedatives, court documents reveal.
KTRK-TV reported Tyler Rabenhorst-Malone of Lima, Wisc., has been charged with placing foreign objects in edibles and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
Officials say in January 2018 the teen’s stepdad went to the hospital with a droopy face, heavy breathing and slurred speech. After being examined, doctors concluded his symptoms had been brought on from a mix of energy drinks, lack of sleep and stress.
However, when it happened again three months later, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office said the stepfather began to suspect the teen was “messing with him.”
The complaint states that the boy’s mom and stepfather reported a box of oxytocin with rompun — that they gave to their cows when they were delivering calves — was missing from their Wisconsin barn.
Police said when the stepdad stopped leaving his energy drinks open around the house, his symptoms disappeared. Not soon after, police said he found used two used syringes shoved in a corner in the barn.
Liquid taken from a suspected bottle of tainted energy drink tested positive for the tranquilizer.
The court report states Rabenhorst-Malone admitted to spiking the drinks, but said he had no intentions of hurting his stepdad. The teen told police “he thought it would be funny.”
The teen is set to appear in court March 18.

THIS is the problem. Teens, children, and even adults think it’s okay to do whatever pleases them as long as the intention was just be funny.

He wasn’t trying to be “funny”. That kid is messed up.

Odd. The article uses the word “teen” in the title, and repeatedly uses the word “teen” in the body, but the photo does not look like a “teen” at all. Perhaps its some mutant albino “teen” or something

But when the first time sends him to the hospital, if he does it again, it’s not to be funny, no matter what he claims.

Spare the rod spoil the child came true,at 17 he needs an ass kicking most teens go by no rules ok lets play that game.
I have been a stepfather twice and those little bastards were always try to drive a wedge. Stepdad interferes with their mom buy me this mom take me there can I have my girlfriend stay the night. Mom always says yes she doesn’t see any harm while stepdad says mow the lawn do the dishes take out the trash clean your room.
Sounds like this kid was going to fix stepdad’s little red wagon. Probably had some reason after he got that seven syllable hyphenated last name.
That was the first thing that came to mind. Step-kids do some amazing things to hurt/neutralize the step parent.
However, it's a tradition here on FR to blame the woman.

Maybe the kid is just sick little prick that takes after daddy. Where did the article say the kid lied about it? He admitted it to the police when they questioned him.

Yup lots of unanswered questions, so without more information it's kind of irresponsible to make suppositions that put the onus on the mother and stepfather, no?
Perhaps no intention of hurting his stepfather but every intention of killing him.
