A man has revealed how running two minutes late for the doomed Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines flight saved his life.
The Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 crashed six minutes after departing Addi Ababa, Ethiopia on Sunday morning killing all 157 people on board.
Wow, I think I’d have a strong case of survivor’s guilt after that ordeal.

There was a Twilight Zone episode that was similar. The man just missed boarding and was watching the plane fly away when it exploded in mid air. I was just a child when I watched that but never forgot it.
“The plane was in flames in its rear side shortly before the crash.”
Did an engine fall off before the crash?
Was it a mechanical problem?
Or was there a device planted on board by a terrorist group?

I was flying home one evening in the late 1977. I was seated next to a woman. We didn’t say much but as we went into final approach, the woman, still not speaking, reached out and grabbed my hand. I was sure what was going on but I figured she needed something so I said nothing.
As we were taxing out she turned to me and thanked me for letting her hold my hand. That day there had been a terrible crash between two fully loaded 747s in the
Canary Islands. The crash killed 583 of the 644 people aboard. If she had not missed her flight, she would have been on one of those 747s. I’m glad I could help.
The crew was already signaling distress but apparently no Mention of suspicion. Could be terror but doubtful.
I have heard a LOT of stories like that.
A lot of people should have been there during the crashes, and weren’t for various reasons like that. Things like a sick kid, oversleeping, a kid forgot their homework, the car wouldn’t start, traffic congestion.
Does the new plane run on Windows ?
I miss any and all flights anymore....on purpose.
