It Exists: DOJ Finds Letter Ordering Scrutiny of Uranium One, Hillary Clinton
daily beast ^ | 3/9/2019 | Betsy Woodruff

After it claimed no such document existed, the Justice Department just unearthed a letter Matt Whitaker delivered to the Utah U.S. attorney directing a review of how the department handled the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One issues.

Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote the letter on Nov. 22, 2017 for Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber. Matt Whitaker, who was Sessions’ chief of staff at the time, emailed the letter to Huber that day, writing, “As we discussed.” He also sent Huber a copy of a letter the Justice Department’s Congressional affairs chief sent to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee on Nov. 13 of that year.

The existence of a letter documenting Sessions’ directive that the DOJ revisit probes of Trump’s top political foe is a surprise because a department lawyer said in court last year that senior officials insisted it didn’t exist. The liberal nonprofit American Oversight obtained the letter through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request they filed on Nov. 22, 2017––the same day Whitaker emailed Sessions’ letter to Huber.....

What’s happened since then?

The DOJ has successfully identified any whistleblowers, and has destroyed any evidence implicating the deep state's its many crimes. That's what's happened. Also exposed a couple of deep state, fake news pukers/operatives here on FR.

Well seeing as others just keep posting the same stuff over and over ill repeat myself too...

months ago in November Trump himself told us what he was waiting for to declassify the FISA docs and said what the redline for Democrats to cross would be.

++++++++++++++++++

https://nypost.com/2018/11/28/trump-threatens-to-declassify-devastating-docs-about-democrats/

In a wide-ranging, exclusive interview with The Post, President Trump said Wednesday that if House Democrats launched probes into his administration — which he called “presidential harassment” — they’d pay a heavy price.

“If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me. I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that,” he said during a 36-minute Oval Office sitdown.

The commander-in-chief said he would declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.

Trump told The Post he wanted to save the documents until they were needed.

“It’s much more powerful if I do it then,” Trump said, “because if we had done it already, it would already be yesterday’s news.”

+++++++++++++++++

Amazingly just after Nadler and the house Democrats announced 81 requests for documents and they were going to pursue that “harassment” track Trump tweets two words

Donald J. Trump

PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!

Nothing can stop what is coming.

And Despite Trump himself letting us know what is about to happen

Sadly some people are just too blind to see

So for me when trump himself (not the msm, not a stupid trolls YouTube video, not a nine months old article) tells us he will declassify the docs and expose Clinton the doj and fbi crimes I take his word for it, other folks and trolls call names and bury their heads in the sand and whine and try and convince every one not to believe what they see and it’s really pathetic.

I wonder how many will finally see the light and how many will run away never to be heard from again, well at last til they create a new screen name, lol

Please re-read your post. I'm not sure what you are telling me to "see". Could you post a link? Thanks.

So I see the response to you is nothing but ad hominem emotional screeching without any factual information, now where have we seen that type of behavior before?

So U.S. Attorney John Huber has been investigating the Clinton Foundation for a year and a half. Q anons Some folks knew this a year ago. But now the public knows. And that means the ball is beginning to roll down hill. Buckle up, FRiends, and make popcorn!

There is absolutely nothing new in this letter. All of what is shown in this letter was known back in January of 2018, when the Sessions/Boyd memos to Chairman Goodlatte were released. Most on this forum knew about and discussed what was in those memos.

And the letter and two memos only show that Huber was tasked to "review" and "make recommendations" to the (corrupt) DAG "or" the (recused)AG "as appropriate", the need to investigate or not to investigate the matters referred to by Chairman Goodlatte.

Given that Sessions was recused, who do you think Huber "appropriately" gave those recommendations to?

And if you answered correctly Rosenstein, what do you think the compromised and corrupt Rosenstein did with those recommendations?

I do feel the responses thus far have not added to the discussion. They seem more inflammatory in nature. But I can't assume old-timers are shills. A lot of folks hate what they don't understand, myself included. Some of us combat that by digging-in and learning, others flame. No big deal. I've been through a couple cycles like this. The volume is always cranked up right before the intense action scene in the movie. I got used to it.

The issue that most of us are overlooking is that this Sessions letter was just Doesn’t that mean the “DECLAS” we have all been calling for has just started?

Another article currently up on FR says that "a left-leaning watchdog group, American Oversight, filed a FOIA request".

None of that changes that Trump himself said he would declassify the Fisa docs if the dems continued to investigate after the Mueller report, so solid try at a red herring/straw man. But no.

I am not aware that Huber has provided a report thus far. If that is public knowledge and you have a link handy, please direct me that way. If a report had been delivered, it would most likely be in the hands of Rosenstein/Sessions. If a report had been delivered and sat on, it would be sat on by Rosenstein/Sessions. But now both the democrats and the republicans are aware of the report being requested, and both teams think it damages the other side. They both know they were lied to when it was said no such request was made. The pressure to release it mounts. And there is a new sheriff in town, Barr, who might just be pleased to chime in. These are exciting times.

Not sure why it would have been pulled. I've seen speech more inflammatory than that used on this forum without issue. And yours was not even directed at me personally but toward an anonymous Internet theory. Strange. I'm glad there are some civility controls, of course, but I hope they are not becoming overly rigid.

You lie.

I made no attempt at a straw man fallacy.

I simply responded to a poster who thought that this might be part of a Trump declassification. I stated factually that it wasn't.

I'm not sure what was said under testimony, do you have a link. But all Democrats and Republicans were made aware of the Sessions/Boyd memos back in January of 2018, so there's nothing new in this letter.

The pressure to release it mounts. And there is a new sheriff in town, Barr, who might just be pleased to chime in. These are exciting times.

I'm certainly more optimistic with the new sheriff, Barr, than I was with the old sheriff. Hopefully Trump releases the docs soon and Barr does his job.

As I stated, my question was based on the time frame of when the Sessions was the recused AG.

About the current (unrecused)AG, Bob Barr, and what Huber does for Bob Barr, I would hope that they will "hold offenders accountable and advance the rule of law".

We shall see.

He feigned incompetence...

If that’s true, Sessions deserves an Oscar... ... cause he did it so convincingly.
