After it claimed no such document existed, the Justice Department just unearthed a letter Matt Whitaker delivered to the Utah U.S. attorney directing a review of how the department handled the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One issues.
Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote the letter on Nov. 22, 2017 for Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber. Matt Whitaker, who was Sessions chief of staff at the time, emailed the letter to Huber that day, writing, As we discussed. He also sent Huber a copy of a letter the Justice Departments Congressional affairs chief sent to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee on Nov. 13 of that year.
The existence of a letter documenting Sessions directive that the DOJ revisit probes of Trumps top political foe is a surprise because a department lawyer said in court last year that senior officials insisted it didnt exist. The liberal nonprofit American Oversight obtained the letter through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request they filed on Nov. 22, 2017the same day Whitaker emailed Sessions letter to Huber.....

The DOJ has successfully identified any whistleblowers, and has destroyed any evidence implicating the deep state's its many crimes. That's what's happened. Also exposed a couple of deep state, fake news pukers/operatives here on FR.
Well seeing as others just keep posting the same stuff over and over ill repeat myself too...
months ago in November Trump himself told us what he was waiting for to declassify the FISA docs and said what the redline for Democrats to cross would be.

In a wide-ranging, exclusive interview with The Post, President Trump said Wednesday that if House Democrats launched probes into his administration which he called presidential harassment theyd pay a heavy price.
If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me. Im a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard theyd never been hit like that, he said during a 36-minute Oval Office sitdown.
The commander-in-chief said he would declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Muellers probe and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.
Trump told The Post he wanted to save the documents until they were needed.
Its much more powerful if I do it then, Trump said, because if we had done it already, it would already be yesterdays news.

Amazingly just after Nadler and the house Democrats announced 81 requests for documents and they were going to pursue that harassment track Trump tweets two words

Nothing can stop what is coming.
And Despite Trump himself letting us know what is about to happen
Sadly some people are just too blind to see
So for me when trump himself (not the msm, not a stupid trolls YouTube video, not a nine months old article) tells us he will declassify the docs and expose Clinton the doj and fbi crimes I take his word for it, other folks and trolls call names and bury their heads in the sand and whine and try and convince every one not to believe what they see and it’s really pathetic.
I wonder how many will finally see the light and how many will run away never to be heard from again, well at last til they create a new screen name, lol
So I see the response to you is nothing but ad hominem emotional screeching without any factual information, now where have we seen that type of behavior before?
I can’t. Someone reported it. Not sure why. I guess q threads can be any thread now?
There is absolutely nothing new in this letter. All of what is shown in this letter was known back in January of 2018, when the Sessions/Boyd memos to Chairman Goodlatte were released. Most on this forum knew about and discussed what was in those memos.
And the letter and two memos only show that Huber was tasked to "review" and "make recommendations" to the (corrupt) DAG "or" the (recused)AG "as appropriate", the need to investigate or not to investigate the matters referred to by Chairman Goodlatte.
Given that Sessions was recused, who do you think Huber "appropriately" gave those recommendations to?
And if you answered correctly Rosenstein, what do you think the compromised and corrupt Rosenstein did with those recommendations?
Another article currently up on FR says that "a left-leaning watchdog group, American Oversight, filed a FOIA request".
None of that changes that Trump himself said he would declassify the Fisa docs if the dems continued to investigate after the Mueller report, so solid try at a red herring/straw man. But no.
You lie.
I made no attempt at a straw man fallacy.
I simply responded to a poster who thought that this might be part of a Trump declassification. I stated factually that it wasn't.
“Post 31 & 34
Good memory refreshers on Uranium One.”
and interesting back and forths among the usual divided lines, lol!!
I'll rephrase.
Given that Sessions was recused, who do you think Huber would "appropriately" give those recommendations to?
But now both the democrats and the republicans are aware of the report being requested, and both teams think it damages the other side. They both know they were lied to when it was said no such request was made.
I'm not sure what was said under testimony, do you have a link. But all Democrats and Republicans were made aware of the Sessions/Boyd memos back in January of 2018, so there's nothing new in this letter.
The pressure to release it mounts. And there is a new sheriff in town, Barr, who might just be pleased to chime in. These are exciting times.
I'm certainly more optimistic with the new sheriff, Barr, than I was with the old sheriff. Hopefully Trump releases the docs soon and Barr does his job.
Hmmmmmm who could it be? And I wonder what "offenders" they will "hold accountable"
Hmmmmmm who could it be? And I wonder what "offenders" they will "hold accountable"
As I stated, my question was based on the time frame of when the Sessions was the recused AG.
About the current (unrecused)AG, Bob Barr, and what Huber does for Bob Barr, I would hope that they will "hold offenders accountable and advance the rule of law".
We shall see.
If thats true, Sessions deserves an Oscar... ... cause he did it so convincingly.
