Whoopi Goldberg has shared a health update after being absent from “The View” for just over a month, revealing on Friday’s show that she’s “not dead,” but she actually came awfully close.
“I am OK. I’m not dead,” Goldberg said in a taped segment that rolled at the top of Friday’s episode. “Yes, I came very, very close to leaving the Earth. Good news, I didn’t. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”

Jack Lalane died at age 95 from bacterial pneumonia. He of tremendous fitness and nutritional guru fame. Something gets all of us eventually even if impeccably great healthy lifestyles.

Pneumonia. Been there. Done it.
Eat wisely & exercise. No alcohol. No drugs.
Keep a survival sleeping bag. Burn off the body chills.
Uncomfortable but it passes.
A great immune system is your lifelong friend.
I have COPD but I was a long time smoker prior to that event so I can't necessarily blame pneumonia.
My husband has had it twice. Three months each time.

I am thinking similarly. She’s had a career on TV of nastiness and ill will toward others. It’s time to slow down and appreciate all that she has. The Grim Reaper knocked on her door and said that it was just a courtesy call this time.
I wonder sometimes if those who abort or assist in abortions will have to do some explaining to the infants they killed. Perhaps they will be made to see who that person would have been and what life would have been like.
They were insulted and said "Hey, I've been thrown out of better bodies than this."

she’s been brain dead for years
I had Pneumonia about five years ago after my Immune System took a crash after my last round of Chemotherapy.
The only thing that saved me was Plasma Infusion Therapy. Took five different Antibiotic Regimens that did absolutely nothing.
Took a long while to recover from it. Unless Whoopie was off the Show for a few weeks, I’m sure she is “coloring” her story for dramatic effect.
Yes. Get vaccinated against it. Pneumonia is a serious and potentially fatal illness. With other formerly deadly ailments suppressed, remedied, or delayed, pneumonia has become more prominent and all too frequently is as a cause of death.
Reports are she's been off the show for over a month. Since February 5.
Well, that gives her some credibility based on my own experience. She may the RBG of Daytime Gossip TV.
Did The View’s Ratings decline while she was gone?
She is a home and cared for by two young muscular White Nigerians. She tired of Ted’s blackface. ;^}
Maybe a bad batch of weed got her.. not a ‘Ghost’ of a chance you say,, ya never know.

She’s already admitted to deliberately killing (aborting) six of her children. I have no use for this filthy serial killer. She deserves whatever God gives her.
