What offended the German military when the American military came to Germany?

Well, they didn’t think the Americans could fight, given they were a nation of immigrants, farmers, and store clerks with no military tradition. They were proven wrong at Cantigny, Château-Thierry, and Belleau Wood. The Americans were green as grass, but they kept on fighting until they won. It was one of the things that shocked the German army and damaged their morale in 1918.

Read what effect the US
phosphorus weapons and
the 'secret' weapon called
Goliath Germany had but
was unable to use at the
landings.  Great read.

It amazed everyone. We started the war with 3 aircraft carriers. We ended the war with 51 aircraft carriers and 71 escort carriers. We produced 15,000 P-47’s and 15,000 P-51’s alone.
The most mass-produced Soviet fighter was the Yak-9 and they built 17,000 of them.

On 7 December 1941, the U.S. Navy had seven aircraft carriers

By war’s end in 1945, the United States Navy had added twenty-seven aircraft carriers

I agree but am not as familiar with Nimitz as with Patton. We were very fortunate to have the officer corps that we did at that time. unfortunately Obama was very successful at destroying our current offer corps.

Read what effect the US phosphorus weapons and the 'secret' weapon called Goliath Germany had but was unable to use at the landings. Great read.

Although a total of 7,564 Goliaths were produced, the single-use weapon was not considered a success due to high unit cost, low speed (just above 6 miles per hour (9.7 km/h)), poor ground clearance (just 11.4 centimetres), the vulnerable control cable, and thin armour which could not protect the vehicle from small-arms fire. The Goliath was also too big and heavy to be easily man-portable.[5] Mostly, they failed to reach their target although the effect was considerable when they did.[5]

My late grandfather served with the US Army's First Gas&Flame Division and saw combat during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He was a sergeant and as might be obvious he and his unit worked with that horrible stuff. He was wounded by mustard gas, once when the wind shifted and their own stuff blew back on them and another time by German stuff. He never spoke about the war, not to us kids anyway.

For a country lauded for their military prowess the Germans sure managed to get their asses kicked a lot over the last century.

When new DVDs don’t load, it is often because the player needs a CODEC upgrade. network- connected players do this regularly.

True, but they did not make it easy. And if Hitler did not attack Russia and the U.K., both of whom thus received US aid, or if Hitler only attacked Russia rather than trying to fight a two-front way, or if Japan did not attack the US (resulting in the US helping the U.K.) but became allied with Germany in attacking Russia, then Germany might be the one lauded for their military prowess versus the US and U.K and allies.

A lot of ifs, but God enabled the best countries to win, while anti-Christ liberals work to destroy it.
