I remember one from the early 1960s. Can’t remember the product but I recognized the woman selling the product as a white or light skinned “Sapphire” from Amos and Andy.
Then there was a Brylcreem anti-baldness cream advertisement that “Helps You Keep The Hair You’ve Got!”
Then there was ISODINE which was used for first aid, “One day, Billy got a bad scratch. So mom painted him up like a real Indian!”
