How much more do Dems have to screw up to turn the NJ, NY, Ct blue?

Move now before it’s too late.

Resistance is futile.

Yeah Reagan won California too, by 16+%, but the demographics have changed radically since then. Plus the Democrats have changed the las there that allows for vote harvesting. I hear what you are saying, but you are comparing apples to oranges.

And if they did ‘go GOP’? How exactly would that change the trajectory this country is in?

Maybe you need to get up to speed on the UniTreason Party and the false opposition.

You have a lot of indoctrinated people in those states. Winning them back requires a plan to win over a sizeable percentage of those groups. It can be done, but the GOP has never shown any innovation in that regard. Trump is an exception but he’s swimming against the current. Fact is, the GOP doesn’t compete for the disaffected minorities. They have been content to stay within their electoral safe zone.

If you want the plan to take back some voters and some blue states: We need a grass roots movement to demand conservative representation in education at all levels, and in media. Liberals took over the campuses that way decades ago.

Beyond me why everyone bemoans liberal education and media, but no one demands changes. It’s not a hard argument to make. No one is making it.

I don’t recal the details, but I remember some statistical analysis that indicated NJ was the most likely of the eastern Dem states to flip to the GOP in a presidential election.

New York? Not a chance!

My dog might do the Macarena, too. And probably sooner. Seriously, California should be taken as the classic case. Power ebbs and the other side’s majorities grow bigger and bigger. PC becomes mandated in the schools. The elected secty of state and attorney general conspire to keep conservative measures off the ballot, give them misleading ballot titles if they do and in the off chance they pass, refuse to defend the people’s will in court. With ballot harvesting they’ve got iron control down to a science

We are way too far gone here in NJ for the forseeable future. Closest a Republican has come recently was Bush losing in 2004 by 6.68% 3 years after 9/11. Don’t see a Republican getting anywhere near that close for a good long while.

Right. I was supposed to stay in New York and pay $12,000.00 a year in real estate taxes on your say so.

I'll take freedom instead.

Nope, can't agree. There are states...more than a few...that are absolutely lost to every imaginable form of depravity.

I look at this country today and am very glad indeed that I'm *far* closer to the grave than to the cradle.

Years ago, Dem. Jim Florio signed in NJ such a ridiculous tax bill that the Republicans were elected to big majorities in both chambers. When the Republicans got to set the agenda they did NOTHING but spend on their preferred constituencies. They squandered their big opportunity and their statewide answer was Christine Todd Whitman.

Christie was the kind of “conservative” that can get elected in New Jersey sometimes, but after years of shooting off the mouth and getting nothing of consequence done, the default Dem dominance continues unabated, picking up where they left off. The numerous Christine Todd-Whitman types gleefully undermine conservatism within the party, and are poison to party recruitment.
