I have the Dan Curtis Macabre Collection on DVD. Includes The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde (1968 in colour videotape), Dracula (1973 with Jack Palace), The Turn of The Screw (1974), and The Picture of Dorian Gray (1973).
A bit off topic, but who remembers the Lizzie Borden movie with Elizabeth Montgomery made in about 1975? Was it done originally for TV?

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the Dan Curtis daytime production “Dark Shadows” that reworked “Jane Eyre” as a vampire story set in Maine. That long running soap opera lef to several movie adaptations.

I was about nine years old when this came out. I still remember it vividly. That little pigmy with a knife scared the holy heck out of me. Great movie.
Around the same time there was a movie called The Devil’s bride or the devil’s daughter? I remember a scene towards the end owhere looking up at the sky they show the silhouette of the devil.
Carl Kolchak as The Night Stalker. Great series.

I was 8 I think - wish I had gone to bed instead of talking my parents into letting me watch it.
I forgot all about Karen Black. She was a really good looking woman. I say was because she is dead now. Died in 2013 at the age of 74 if you can believe that. Life is so short. Make the most of the time you have!
