I never heard of him abusing drugs, not saying he didn’t, but I never heard of it.
Healthy people die too, way too young, it’s a crap shoot.
...eyep....RIP
Condolences to family and friends of Luke Perry. R.I.P., sir. Thanks.
Oh my god. Why the good why not the evil. RIP
My first wife died of a heart attack two weeks before her 42nd birthday.
I bet they did, too.
A woman I know, about 20 years older than he, was well and went to a friend’s and all of a sudden, she collapsed. Went by ambulance to the hospital where they determined she had a major stroke and put her in a come. After a few days, the family decided to take her off life support as there was nothing more the doctors could do. Very sad.
The same exact thing is happening right now to my Ex’s 81 YO father. He’s still alive but no brain activity beyond his brain stem.
My kids, 18 and 22 YO, are taking it hard and I feel for them. He’s been around them their whole lives.
It really is a blow...
I wasnt too surprised to hear of his health issues. He did not look well these last few years.
I am sorry to hear that he didnt recover from what had him.
May his rest be peaceful now.
My sister-in-law died of a stroke at age 38.....................
Strokes are pretty rare at 52 years old.
Poor fellow.
RIP Luke.
Could be diabetes?
The aborted babies are all good. None are evil.
Tragic news. RIP
Pretty typical to try and get the family to the hospital.
He may also have been an organ donor. It takes time to get all that together.
Never watched it. Caught the tail end of one epi. Elvis impersonators getting on or off a plane.
They may find an AVM as the culprit. More common than most people think.
I was following the Luke Perry situation closely, as I saw firsthand a death after a stroke. In the situation I saw, it was initial stroke, bad stroke after 2 days, then 2 weeks to pull life support, then about 2 weeks to death. Death was more of a "process" than an "event", and parts of the body would seem to recover even though the brain was never going to come back.
RIP Luke Perry. I never heard any stories about him taking drugs or talking politics, he seemed like a regular work-a-day actor.
I read somewhere that he had surgery for a severe back problem and growths removed after a colonoscopy.
