This whole thing strikes me as a massive violation of the Fourth Amendment, which requires “probable cause” before government can demand to search your home or business. This is an investigation in search of a crime.

That’s my take. Congress doesn’t get to just ignore the Constitution because it’s a president they don’t like. He is a citizen and has those rights despite being POTUS.

Of course the media, in this instance, won’t bring up the fact that “if you set this precedent then it should apply for all future presidents”. Do you really want R’s doing this to D POTUS’? Of course we all know the double standard...
