The current debate is over what Democrats plan to implement if and when they take power — not what Trump will sign tomorrow.
“I am for the call to action,” Delgado told his constituents, listing off a number of priorities, including green jobs and ending fossil fuel subsidies, though he was less clear on what that would precisely look like. Rather, Delgado said that he was interested in policies that presented change in the short term — closing the door, at least for now, on the more long-term goals of the Green New Deal.
“It’s not what we want 15, 20, 30 years from now,” said Delgado. “What can we get done right now?”

Of course they are shying away from the Green Deal. They want you to vote on what they say. Not on what their party actually does.

On Fox morning show, Grif showed the younguns he interviewed at Bernie’s rally yesterday. Mercy, they are so out of any knowledge, it’s scary... if it wasn’t so sad, it’d be oddly funny to see 20 yr olds that seriously dumb....the educational system should be ashamed of themselves for turning out young people who don’t even know what communism is. They didn’t teach communism... they taught a line of bull...
One man said his parents came from Cuba and the socialism there was not the same as bernie’s socialism... they all are groping for the free stuff and dreaming of a utopia under communism/socialism.
Will they ever grow up or is this the future for the Great Nation we knew.
I will go along with this only if there is a term limit option within the deal.

Activists are hounding, not voters.
We could accomplish all the results of a Green New Deal at only a small fraction of the cost and within a very short period of time.
There are several relatively inexpensive means. EMP bomb, bio weapons, chemical weapons. Even an intense regional nuclear exchange (India v Pakistan) would have planetary wide effects if there was enough nuclear fallout.
A green new deal would mean a 19th century lifestyle for most of what’s left of the public. The Georgia guidestones prophecy could be realized. The elites would retain a very advanced lifestyle.
Why couldn’t this come out before November 2018. AOC could have used this in campaign. Ugh. Will voters remember it care in 2020? Debateable.
There will be term limits over their decayed remains.
If Trump could, somehow, get it on the ballot... for a vote.
The problem with the dem party and some of the GOP, they have been there tooooo long and have built a corrupt congress where they can spend their lives making a fortune. The fact they can stay forever, is what has given them the way and the means to do whatever they so desire ... and given them the idea they have the power to do so... they are above reproach or question. Kings and Queens who are so far from truth and the good of America! They have become dictators via threats, lies and an attempted coup, applying every trick they can invent, against the President and the people who elected him.

Just yesterday POTUS Trump welcomes the Rats running on the Green New Deal in 2020.
He is more supportive of it than Feinstein. LOL
Everytime I hear about this green deal and rail travel, my brain immediately recollects The Comet and its fateful run in Atlas Shrugged....
That’s it! An EMP. No need for government mandates, burdensome taxes, abortions, population control. Anything with electronics gets fried, and we all have to learn to live off the land. About 10% - 15% of the population would survive the lack of food, water and electricity. Great way to cut CO2 emissions.
I just wish it would detonate over blue states only. That is, right after I leave California.
Funny, though. The cows are better suited for an EMP and would outlive the humans, generating uncontrolled methane emissions.
