Ex co-worker no fan of Democrat darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being hailed as the new face of the Democratic Party after vanquishing Queens party boss Joe Crowley in Tuesday’s primary, but one former co-worker isn’t jumping on her bandwagon.
Most of the staff at Flats Fix, the East 16th Street taco and tequila bar, say nice things about Sandy, as they knew her for the four years she worked there, until she quit six months ago to run for Congress.
But one waitress has a bad memory of working with Ocasio-Cortez, 28, as Ocasio-Cortez tended bar during the very busy Cinco de Mayo celebration in 2017.

If she’s so slimy as to blatantly steal a co-workers money, then I would say there is not a chance in hell she declared that money as well. And she’s also illegally funneling money to her boyfriend. And she’s bragging on her Twitter how she is going to investigate Trumps finances and “bring him down”.

Frankly the story didn’t seem too bad. I’m guessing there are co-workers that could tell much worse tales about this evil wench. This was thrown out there as cover to hopefully stop further questioning

Friggin’ fraud and a poser. It’s gonna be great seeing the NY democrats primary her next year. Until then, she is doing more for the GOP other than Hillary!
Stealing tips didn’t keep her from getting elected. The truth doesn’t seem to affect lefty voters or candidates.

Meh, she worked in an apparently pretty busy bar/restaurant for four years. She worked with probably hundreds of different people over this time, some better characters than others, probably more than a few who resented her at the time for being thin and pretty, some more who resent her now for getting out of the industry and making it big. It would be really suspicious if an unfriendly newspaper couldn’t locate at least one good story against her.
Rather than try to play gotcha about a Cinco de mayo tip jar, I’d rather see some one take her to task for culturally appropriating Cinco de mayo for profit.
