MYTH NO. 1
Socialism is a single coherent ideology.
…socialism has multiple meanings and interpretations, which have to be disentangled before a discussion about its merits can begin. One distinction centers on whether socialism is a system that must supplant capitalism or one that can harness the market’s immense productive capacity for progressive ends. Karl Marx, who predicted that historical forces would inevitably lead to capitalism’s demise and to government control of industry, was the most famous proponent of the first type of socialism. An impatient Vladimir Lenin argued instead that rather than waiting for history to run its course, a revolutionary vanguard should destroy capitalism.
Other socialists, however, did not accept the violent, undemocratic nature of that course, although they agreed that capitalism was unjust and unstable. The left’s role, in the view of these “democratic socialists” — the Czech-Austrian theorist Karl Kautsky, for instance — was to remind citizens of capitalism’s defects and rally popular support for an alternative economic system that would end private ownership and assert popular control over the means of production.

Socialism is NOT democratic in any definition of the word (but note they have to say that Socialism has multiple meanings to supplant their “Not true socialism” defense when it fails as it always does.)
Why don’t all these treasonous Marxist RATs immediately move themselves and their families, bag and baggage, to Venezuela or Cuba since they love Communism so much. I don’t see any of them hurrying down there yet, do you?

They will tell whatever lies are necessary to impose their ideology.
Socialists have their own version of Islamic Taqiyyah. There is no justification whatsoever to believe ANYTHING a socialist, Marxist, communist or Muslim has to say. Their accepted practices have disqualified their veracity many times over.

A few TRUTHS about socialism. It causes severe slothfulness in the population and you eventually run out of OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY. Having the government bureaucrats take total control over your life isn’t a good thing either. Socialism also causes the entire population of a country to form “caravans” and illegally sneak into capitalist, non third world countries. You can take that to the bank. EVERY illegal alien who leaves their socialist homeland and comes to AMERICA says they did it to provide “A BETTER LIFE” for themselves and their family. The final truth is, SOCIALISM SUCKS.

I think the kind of socialism that can "Harness ...productive capacity..." is usually called Fascism.
The pillars of communism / socialism are lies, envy, hatred, theft, and murder. Ultimately communism / socialism forms what resembles a feudal system with a very small aristocracy, usually headed by a strong man, at the top and the rest of the population their slaves in one form or another.
She’s admitting that socialism/Communism/Democrat-Socialism can only exist as a parasite of capitalism.
