A few TRUTHS about socialism. It causes severe slothfulness in the population and you eventually run out of OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY. Having the government bureaucrats take total control over your life isn’t a good thing either. Socialism also causes the entire population of a country to form “caravans” and illegally sneak into capitalist, non third world countries. You can take that to the bank. EVERY illegal alien who leaves their socialist homeland and comes to AMERICA says they did it to provide “A BETTER LIFE” for themselves and their family. The final truth is, SOCIALISM SUCKS.

I think the kind of socialism that can "Harness ...productive capacity..." is usually called Fascism.
